Michael Kay is from London and currently studying English Literature at Oxford University. He studied in yeshiva for two (wonderful) years, and is grateful for the meaningful, enriching and fun time he had. He is involved in Makom to ensure everyone has the same opportunity to grow in Avodat Hashem and Talmud Torah he had. He loves Torah and literature in all their various forms, though has a particularly soft spot for Tanakh and English poetry. He has always been involved in communal life- from shul to university and is a long-running member of Bnei Akiva UK.
Rivka Mandelbaum is a computer science major at Princeton University. Previously, Rivka studied in Jerusalem for two years at Midreshet Nishmat. In her free time, Rivka likes knitting, mishna, and birdwatching.
Josh Glahn grew up in West Hartford and attended the Hebrew High School of New England before spending time at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush). After yeshiva, Josh went on to study at the University of Pennsylvania where he was involved in the Orthodox Community at Penn (OCP) and lead the Shiurim and Scholar-in-Residence programs. He is currently in medical school at Yale and a member of the university’s Orthodox community. He founded the Yeshiva Inclusion Project in 2014 and has been actively engaged in various efforts to provide Jewish educational opportunities for gay and lesbian students.
